A big element of our success will be in building out a network of photojournalists around the country who will help us help families in need.
In our conversations with photojournalists as we developed the 1 Life, 1,000 Words Foundation we were heartened to find wide support for our missions. Now it is time to register so we can move towards helping families in need, and helping families find you to engage your services.
It doesn't require a formal education in photojournalism to get involved, but our assumption is you will have experience as a documentary photographer, and the equipment to work in challenging situations.
Register today and in the near future gain access to special sections of the site, including your own profile page that will be searchable by location to help you connect with families. We will be advocating for families to consider the benefits of working with a pro from time to time while coaxing them to become better photographers for the in between times.
